Obon was over

It is still hot outside. But it slightly better than the last couple of days.
Obon is believed these (ancestral) spirits return to their families during the period.(August 13th ~
15th) So we visit some of my relatives to pray. Other than that it is still the same summer vacation period. We invite some of our friends to have small party. Kids enjoyed till midnight. They usually sleep around 10pm but they are so high that could not sleep. Certainly after our guest left kids slept right away. >^_^< Well, it was very peaceful and fun moment we had.

Yankee Doodle

It was 35℃ yesterday. Yeah, it was hot. Buzzing of cicadas makes more.
My little one enjoys play with water at her daycare. She may enjoy swimming in the water so will try in the near future. She just starting to sing Yankee Doodle which translate in Japanese. I used to sing this song when I was young. I have never care about the meaning of this song or lyrics but I can tell that my little one sings wrong. So I checked on the web and what I found was the song actually song about Japanese Mountain. I am 40's and finally knew what this song means.

Hot summer day

Well, I finally start my blog that I had been thought for sometime. I have been working as a cook at the Women high school cafeteria and looking after my beautiful two daughters (2 and 8 )while my wife's away.
I have been doing this for over 2 years now. I am still struggling with them. So if you have any suggestion or comments for a guy like me please feel free to let me know. Today's BGM is AOL radio
